The new Syrian Doctors ’Syndicate has included Dr. Kamal Amer, head of the doctors, Dr. Ghassan Al-Fandi, deputy head of the captain, Dr. Maurice Mawas, secretary, and Dr. Nidal Bayazid, the treasurer of the union.
In a statement to SANA, the Syndicate of Syrian Doctors indicated that the work of the new union will focus on developing the work in the interest of society and the health of citizens and cooperation with the Ministry of Health in the development and development of health reality in addition to interest in the scientific field through the establishment of training courses, conferences and periodic scientific activities.
Dr. Amer pointed out that the union's work will also focus on securing the requirements of doctors in various fields.
The electoral conference was held on February 20 in the Al-Sham Hotel, where the 261 members of the conference elected members of the Central Council for the next session, whereby the internal regulations of the professional unions stipulate that the electoral cycle of the Central Council lasts five years and its members are entitled to run for only two terms.
