A forties was stabbed to death on Sunday during a brawl in a sensitive district of Laxou, near Nancy, and the perpetrator fled, we learned on Monday from the prosecution, confirming information from the Republican East.

"Verbal altercations followed by a brawl pitted yesterday, a little after 5 p.m., several people being identified (tenants but also outsiders) in the Champagne building in the Provinces district of Laxou", indicated to l 'AFP the deputy public prosecutor, Stéphane Javet. During the brawl, a 41-year-old man was stabbed in the lungs and "the stabber and those in his group" then fled, he said.
"The motif (of the brawl) for daylight savings time seems futile and needs to be dug up," said Mr. Javet. The victim's autopsy is scheduled to take place on Tuesday. The Nancy SRPJ was seized of the investigation, opened for intentional homicide.
