Last updated: 2020-02-24 20:45 Based on information and in-depth investigations, officers of the Special Duty Squad of Yau Tsim Police District conducted an anti-illegal gambling operation at about 1.30 pm today (24th). They raided a unit located at 30 Jordan Road and smashed a suspected illegal Fishing machine gambling stall.
During the operation, a 60-year-old local man was arrested for "managing gambling establishments"; another non-Chinese man, a local man and a local woman, aged 44 to 52, were suspected of being "in gambling establishments" "Gambling inside" was arrested.
Officers also seized 4 fishing machines, 1 shooting game machine and about 1,500 yuan in cash in the unit.
All arrested men and women are being detained for investigation.
