The Bureau of the Foreign Branches Office of the National Union of Syrian Students held an extraordinary meeting in the Czech capital Prague today, in the presence of Dr. Ammar Saati, member of the Central Command of the Baath Arab Socialist Party and President of the National Union of Syrian Students.
In the meeting held within the framework of the ongoing preparations for the fifteenth conference of the National Union of Syrian Students scheduled for the thirtieth of next March, all issues related to the Syrian students were discussed.
Dr. Saati stressed in a speech during the meeting the important role that Syrian students studying abroad can play in the reconstruction of what was destroyed by terrorism in Syria, noting the importance of the victories achieved by the Syrian Arab Army in its recent battles against terrorism in Aleppo province, noting that these victories carry Political, military and economic meanings shattered the dreams of the Turkish regime supporting terrorists in northern Syria.
Dr. Saati pointed out that Syria's enemies did not stand idly by in front of these victories, and they exerted economic pressure on the Syrian people in an attempt to undermine their resolve and will, under the illusion that unless they take it to war, they will take it to the economy.
Dr. Saati noted the role of the allies in standing by the Syrian people in their war against terrorism, pointing at the same time to the negative role played by some Western and regional countries within the framework of the political track to solve the crisis in Syria.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Sahar Al-Fahoum, Assistant Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Princess Kairouani, Chargé d'Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Prague and with the participation of the heads of the branches of the Union in Germany, Britain, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, France, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Belarus, Moldova, Romania, Slovakia, Serbia and Hungary and head of the Foreign Branches Office on behalf of Sudan.
