(CNN Spanish) - This Tuesday, the plenary session of the Constitutional Court of Peru, will discuss the presentation on the constitutionality of bullfighting, cockfighting and other declared cultural activities, the Peruvian News Agency reported.
The Constitutional Court must debate the paper due to a lawsuit imposed by more than 5,000 Peruvian citizens, arguing that the Animal Protection and Welfare Law does not include bullfighting and cockfighting.

The Peruvian News Agency adds that the Constitutional Court must analyze every 20 years and discuss whether there are practices that can be considered cultural or not.
The Constitutional Court informed that the debate of the paper will be transmitted in social networks as part of a pilot plan to make public this type of sessions of national interest.
