Former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak died on Tuesday at the age of 91, Egypt's news network reports. President Mubarak served as Egypt's president from 1981 until 2012, when he resigned after huge protests against him. In his place was Mohammed Morsi, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood Islamist movement.
Mubarak has inherited the place of former President Anwar Sadat, who signed Egypt's historic peace treaty with the State of Israel.
