Hebe de Bonafini was "completely in agreement" with Alberto Fernández's sayings about the military . The head of the Mothers of Plaza de Mayo described the President's statements as "very clear" as the claim of the new Armed Forces.
Days ago, the President had celebrated that all current officers of the Armed Forces emerged in democracy. And he asked that "all of Argentina must turn a page, a page that distanced us a long time due to the misconduct of some."
Those words caused controversy in some sectors linked to human rights , from which Nora Cortiñas crossed. But Bonafini came out to back the president with a statement that bears his signature.
"The Mothers Association of Plaza de Mayo wants to express that it fully agrees with what the President said , " begins the text published on the official website of the organization.
"Their expressions were very clear regarding the claim of the new, renewed Forces, which Néstor, Cristina and Nilda Garré created with their modification of the curricula and military training," the statement continues.
In addition, he points out that these Armed Forces "have nothing to do with the dictatorship, since they are made up of people born 20, 25, 35 years ago."

"The Mothers understand what the President said. And we agree with recognizing and claiming these new Armed Forces, because if not we will never have them on our side, next to the people, " Bonafini concluded.
In this way, he took distance from Cortiñas, who had been very hard on Alberto F. and had caused a clarification of the president.
"He had no need to express himself that way, by obligation. That is why I think he is a denier, and I am very sorry. Besides, according to him, we have to turn the page and kill our detained-disappeared forever, when it cost more than 40 years the fight, "said the mother of the Plaza de Mayo Founder Line on Monday.
Hours later, Fernandez said on his Twitter account to explain his sayings. "I never wanted to cause the slightest pain," he wrote on the social network.
