The Iraqi Ministry of Health today announced the registration of five cases of coronavirus, four of them are members of one family in Kirkuk and the fifth is a student in Najaf.

The Alsumaria News website quoted a ministry statement as saying: "Cases have been diagnosed with the virus and quarantine has been applied to them, in addition to 20 people who were quarantined in Najaf from close to the patient."

To that, the Ministry announced extending the moratorium on entry of foreign arrivals from some countries where injuries were recorded to another notice, calling on citizens not to travel to countries where the disease has spread, and also called for the suspension of official working hours in schools and universities for a period of ten days and preventing gatherings in all parts of Najaf.

In turn, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced today that the number of new cases of coronavirus in the country has risen to eight.

The Kuwaiti KUNA agency quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that today three new confirmed infections were recorded, bringing the number to eight, indicating that everyone is in good condition, as they were isolated in one of the hospitals of the Ministry of Health prepared and equipped to deal with the virus.

In Bahrain, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 6 new cases of HIV infection for Bahraini and Saudi citizens, bringing the number of confirmed cases in the country to eight.
