Put the government face to face with its responsibilities, stand out from the strategies of obstructing pension reform and try to create a breach in the heart of the parliamentary majority. This triple ambition appeared Tuesday when Christian Jacob and Damien Abad unveiled a letter addressed to the Prime Minister the same day.
In this letter co-signed by the President of the Republicans and the President of the LR group in the Assembly, the two right-wing elected representatives note the stagnation of the debates and form a proposal to allow the government to break out of an "impasse" . “Rather than activating 49-3 , we ask you to get out of this crisis from the top by suspending the examination of your bill until the end of the work of the financing conference. This would allow you to be able (sic) to re-introduce a new bill that would take into account the conclusions of this funding conference and the concerns of the Council of State, " write the two elected officials.
