Al-Hasakah-Sana

Engineer Mahmoud Al-Ikleh, Director General of the Water Corporation in Hasaka, confirmed that drinking water will be provided to citizens in the city of Al-Hasaka and the population centers in the Tel Tamr district by transporting them with tanks from the wells of his fire as an ambulatory solution after the Turkish occupation forces prevented the water from the city for the second consecutive day by stopping the Alouk station from the work.

Al-Iklah told a SANA reporter that a group of the Turkish occupation forces and his mercenaries entered yesterday at the Aluk wells station in the rural border region of Ras Al-Ain and proceeded to stop the pumping and expulsion of workers at the station, which led to the interruption of drinking water from the city of Hasaka, Tel Tamr and the surrounding population centers indicating the presence of Prompt efforts to resume pumping water from Aluk wells as quickly as possible.

It is noteworthy that the wells of Alok water station includes 30 artesian wells that were invested in 2013 and feed the city of Al-Hasakah and the western countryside with an amount of water approximately 175 thousand cubic meters of drinking water per day which is the need of the city of Al-Hasakah and its suburbs and the town of Tal Tamr and its villages.

The station was exposed to several attacks since the start of the Turkish aggression on the border areas in the north of Hasaka governorate on the ninth of last October, where drinking water was cut more than once from the city of Hasaka, and the governorate of Hasaka secured water for the people from alternative sources despite the difficulty.
