Munich - The Coronavirus * employs many people worldwide. Long outside of China, where it broke out and claimed many victims. But the topic also has strange flowers. A short video has landed on the new Instagram trend channel influencersinthewild (Influencer in the wild). And collected more than 800,000 views in the first four days.
It shows a woman wearing respiratory protection , sitting comfortably on a padded bench and stretching out her right arm, a smartphone in her hand. Apparently she doesn't notice that she is being filmed and is in her element: she seems to be busy taking the best possible selfie of her own with a breathing mask.

Instagram: Coronavirus seems to have strange growths
Much information is not given about the video. Was it created at an airport ? In a clinic ? Does she wear the mask out of concern for the corona virus? Is the background the corona virus * or is the clip older? Did she just want to tell someone that she still got hold of one of the hard-to-get breathing protection products in some places? Or did she - that would be the most unpleasant suspicion - want to take a photo for her Instagram followers because she thinks it is cool to pose with respiratory protection?
These questions remain open. And even if the subject of corona virus * is anything but funny, the short video provides a lot of ridicule.

Many try word games: "No filter necessary" or "It went viral," it says. "Face masks are so hot," another bitingly writes. The hashtag "#feltcutemightdielater" also amuses some of this completely serious topic. "Must update the Tinder profile picture. Corona virus and chill ”and“ Corona does not stop an influencer, ”write other Instagram users.
The video also makes some people angry: “And she glorifies it! Just kidding, but that's the stupidest thing I've ever seen. ”
