The discovery of a recording pen in the room of the municipal council of Saint-Bonnet-près-Bort set fire to the powder in the electoral campaign of this village of Corrèze, where the mayor opposes one of his municipal councilors, each entered on opposite lists.

The affair, revealed Wednesday by the newspaper La Montagne, results in a whole series of complaints which must be transmitted to the parquet floor of Tulle.

On February 15, the day after a city council meeting, the recording pen was discovered under a flowerpot by the first assistant, told an AFP correspondent Daniel Couderc, the mayor (without label) of this village of 200 inhabitants.

The mayor complained, pointing to one of his municipal councilors, Amélie Rebière, yet elected on her list, but who opposed him around debates on wind turbines or the defense of the school.

“I receive threats in council. I almost got slapped by a counselor and I was insulted by the mayor. This is why I have been recording advice since 2017, ”she explained to La Montagne.

She in her turn filed three complaints against the mayor, one for forgery in writing and two for endangering the life of others (the school yard badly plowed and the school stove not up to standards), lists the newspaper.
