The Budget law tested for sustainable development

(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 25 - The examination of the provisions of the Budget law and the situation of Italy with respect to the 17 Objectives of the 2030 Agenda: the Italian Alliance for Sustainable Development (ASviS), presents its report tomorrow to evaluate the impact of the provisions of the law on the different dimensions of sustainable development. On the occasion of the presentation of the Report, an update of the composite indicators will be provided which show the progress of Italy towards the achievement of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

In addition to the President of ASviS Pierluigi Stefanini and the ASviS Spokesman Enrico Giovannini, the President of the Senate Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati, the Minister of Economy and Finance Roberto Gualtieri, the President of the European Parliament David Maria Sassoli and the coordinator of the parliamentary Intergroup for sustainable development Chiara Braga. Ample space will be dedicated to the point of view of young people, with the participation of four associations: Alessio Fabbri (AIESEC Italy), Maria Ida Palmieri (Rome Hub Global Shapers), Elena Marro (European Youth Parliament) Filippo Sotgiu (Fridays for Future Rome ). Due to the alert for the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country and in line with the decisions made in this sense by other public and private entities, the event will not be open to the public but will be streamed on the Facebook page and the ASviS Youtube channel, on ANSA2030 and on the Sole 24 Ore website.
