The Syrian Virtual University and the Excellence and Creativity Commission announced that the first-level placement test for the "adolescents category" participating in the programmatic marathon for children and adolescents for the year 2020, scheduled for Saturday 7-3-2020, will be conducted within the centers affiliated with the university and the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics in the governorates.
In a statement, SANA received a copy of it today from the adolescents category "12 to 15" years, the university and the authority called to view the exam instructions and detailed dates for testing within the mentioned centers in the governorates through their websites.
The test is conducted over an hour and a quarter of an hour and aims to assess the thinking skills and logical analysis of the participants and their knowledge of the approved programming languages "Scratch" and "C Plus Plus" in order to distribute them on 3 levels "beginner, intermediate and advanced" to begin the training phase after which commensurate with each level .
And 1300 children from different governorates from the ages of 8 to 11 years took the first level test for "children" on the fifteenth of this month.
The training program for the marathon to be organized in Damascus next August includes five training and qualifying stages that are scientifically and scientifically specific, during which qualification tests are conducted and appropriate training is provided on various programming technologies and on logical thinking mechanisms for children and adolescents and in a way that helps support the ability of Syrian youth and young people to compete globally and expand The popular base for programming at different age groups.
