The Libyan army, led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, announced today the shooting down of a Turkish plane marching in the vicinity of Souk Al-Khamis, south of the capital, Tripoli.
A tweet by the Information Office of the General Command of Haftar Forces, through his account on Twitter, according to what the Libyan Al-Wasat Gate reported, “The Libyan Air Force’s air defense platforms shot down a Turkish plane in the vicinity of the Souk Al-Khamis area, south of the capital, Tripoli” and the Libyan army had previously shot down many Turkish aircraft drove during the past weeks.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan's regime is proceeding with its plans to devote its intervention in Libya by sending troops to it, as part of its ambitions to plunder the wealth of this country and expand its influence in the region.
