The project to reform the privilege retirement system for judges and diplomats achieved an opinion on Wednesday in the plenary of the Social Welfare and Budget commissions of the Chamber of Deputies and tomorrow will be discussed on the premises, during the last extraordinary session.

The decision was adopted at the end of the debate in commissions, during which the Minister of Labor, Claudio Moroni; the head of the Anses Alejandro Vanoli; and representatives of the associations of magistrates and workers.

" The social security financing system does not tolerate any more differential regimes because we are going to have severe financing problems," Moroni warned, claiming the changes in the special system of retirements that they perceive, fundamentally, in the Judiciary.

Next, the national official proposed "to put together specific regimes" because, he explained, "we are talking about sectors that have stability in the position and long periods of contributions, which can build a personal savings scheme."

"They do not require that the rest of the mass of retirees, which, as Vanoli said, will have severe problems to retire, that is, they will not arrive because they have low levels of contributions or intermittent contributions, finance differential regimes," Moroni completed. , who withdrew from the debate after 3.30 pm because he had to attend the meeting of the national teacher parity.

For his part, Vanoli recalled that the project was developed "within the framework of an emergency law, where decisions were made that had an impact on the general retirement system."

"It generates an annoying asymmetry to make decisions for the general regime and to leave the particular regimes safe. That is why I think this project is a modest advance, undoubtedly there are still inequalities," said the head of the Anses.

Later, said the head of the Association of Magistrates, Marcelo Gallo Tagle, who clarified that "the position" of his entity "is by no means trying to hinder the project."

"On the contrary, we want this project to progress and prosper, but within certain reasonable parameters regarding the proposed modifications," he added.

Galle Table also warned that " there are quite a few dark spots in the law that give rise to different interpretations ." And warned about resignations in the judiciary, which advanced could be " numerous ."

"There are many people who are withdrawing from the Judiciary, valuable, honest and qualified people who have put their efforts in the Judiciary for many years of their lives," he lamented.

The president of the Council of the Magistracy, Alberto Lugones, said in statements to Télam that " between 100 and 150 judges would resign from passing this law " and said that they are magistrates who "already have the retirement granted for meeting the age requirements (60 years) and contributions (more than 30 years) ".

Lugones, a maid in San Martín, said that the wave of retirements "would generate between 380 and 430 vacancies" in the Judiciary, since they add up to the 130 documents that are currently in competition in the Council of the Magistracy to fill vacancies, something that is not resolved "from one day to another", but takes "sometimes months" due to the natural process that the process requires.
