Behind all the "end of democracy"

When a woman comes to vote, she is not alone behind the curtain. There is a calendar with her that knows how many years her sons will be in the next four years. She knows that this election may only be for four months, but she is not betting. So when she throws a thin ballot into the ballot box, she takes into account who is the preferred defense minister for the leading candidate, and who will sit in the cabinet.

A few days before, she sits on a page: on the right column with the years in which the last wars took place (which still insist on categorizing as perpetrators): Cliff Eitan 2014, Cloud Page 2012, Cast Lead 2008/9; She is an accountant, how long has the government been purifying from the inside? Wondering when the sector will heat up and if it is heating up now what it means about the likelihood that its big son, the one serving in the real secret unit, will be at the forefront, and what it means about the other son, the one serving in intelligence.

Because when a woman comes to vote she puts her hand on the heart and looks into her eyes: who will be the humans to wage the next campaign on our lives, whether they dare to attack more from the air and less from the ground, whether they seek to crush enemy rule or just get along politically; How pity the new government will be for the enemies and some for the soldiers, who are basically her children in green costume. Mum marches to the ballot box to support who will bring the boys home from the battlefield, but will make sure grandchildren don't have to fight the boundaries either; Mother goes to the ballot box and knows that in the next election she will take into account her daughter's recruitment as well.

As a former general trying to conquer a political target prepares for the big day, he has other things in mind. Maybe he got into the bank app and is pleasantly surprised; Maybe he opens an ancestor mask and is disappointed that he did not write the correct verses; Maybe he's asking the kids for forgiveness for the jokes.

But on the radio, he talks about "Arduanization" and his phone boyfriend about the "End of Democracy" warns of a new day's dawn, which can be even worse than life as we have become used to in the last three ego systems. He was asked why he starred in a rite of passage for Palestinian spaces immediately after a firm cliffhanger, saying that both sides, all human. Israeli militarism runs through his veins, and every time he recognizes a slit, he pulls the trigger: three indictments! danger! Smutrich in the Cabinet!

Everyone is human, but those who do not vote for his party are, in fact, working against democracy. I hear the threatening brainwashing and recall the processes that took place here under the control of the old elites, when the left-wing leaders complained of "political stagnation" and explained to us at home: "They mean a Jew can comfortably build his home." On television, we complained about a "retreat in the peace process" and I already knew to explain to myself that our hopes had not yet been lost. Whenever the lineup's self-destruct program showed signs of dying, they attacked the media to make us emotional.

Behind every such "end of democracy" lies the hope: that religious athletes can compete in serious championships and not be knocked out because it's always on Saturday; That residents of Levinsky Garden can walk around the park because the High Court will care about them too; a Benjamin Bata house will be registered in the Israeli taboo after 50 years of occupation and not in the Jordanian taboo; a justice minister can check the DIP without kidnapping the attorney general.

This democratic danger is called the refreshment of a state of life. The end of this democracy was supposed to happen in '77, only God knows why the Likudniks took until 2020.
