Braian Toledo died: the memory of other Argentine athletes on social networks

The news surprised everyone at dawn on Thursday. The Argentine athlete Braian Toledo died at age 26 after falling off his motorcycle while traveling on Route 40, in the Buenos Aires town of Marcos Paz, from where he was a native.

With the passing of the hours, the memory of other Argentine athletes began to emerge on social networks. Each post had a common denominator: sadness and pain at the unexpected departure of who was an Argentine Olympic team member who participated in the London 2012 Games and Rio de Janeiro 2016.

"Heartbreaking, incomprehensible," wrote former tennis player Martín Vasallo Argüello , while rower Brian Rosso tweeted: "Today the sport is in mourning." "Deep sadness over the death of Brian Toledo. My condolences and the strongest hug to his family," added Sergio Hernandez , coach of the Argentine basketball team.
