Preliminary data from an ongoing study published by the Jama Network Open magazine, show that people who reach 100 years of age or older in good cognitive state are resistant to mental deterioration and retain their skills after reaching that age. The study includes 340 long-lived, born between 1906 and 1919 in Denmark.
