Invited to the Spring festival in Normandy, this talented balancing act turns his discipline into a vast repertoire.

For a long time, he did not know how to call his specialty. "Distortionist"? "Verticalist"? Walker on the hands? The fact is that for twenty years since he left the National Center for Circus Arts, Jean-Baptiste André has seen the world upside down. His discipline is balances on the hands. It came to him like that. By taste of a dance which approaches a new dimension, and passes from the place upside down, from the floor to the ceiling, sending waltz the sensations ass over head. This can be seen in the portrait devoted to him by the Spring circus festival from March 5, where he presents pieces that have marked his journey.

This is expressed again in L'Orée , the duo on wandering that he builds with the writer Eddy Pallaro transformed into a puppet that he manipulates while he writes. This can still be seen in Deal , the duo he is preparing with the incomparable Dimitri Jourde on Dans la solitude des champs de coton de Koltès and which will be presented at the Centquatre
