Marketed from 6000 euros, the vehicle can also be rented monthly, or for use, like a scooter.

Ultra-compact, license-free and 100% electric ... Citroën presented this Thursday in Paris its new economic vehicle, which intends to find a place in new urban mobility solutions alongside electric bikes and scooters. "It is a vehicle really for everyone," said Vincent Cobee, director of the chevron brand (PSA group), presenting what he designated as "a new concept of mobility".

The model, called Ami, name taken from the old compact sedan "Ami 6" from the 1960s and 1970s, has the appearance of a small cube on wheels with an anti-conformist design, with large windows and a glass roof of series.

Only 2.41 m long and 1.39 m wide, it can carry two people seated side by side. The "light quadricycle" will be available in a single body color, a blue turning to gray, customizable with stickers.

The object, inspired by the Friend One Concept presented last year at the Geneva Motor Show, can be plugged into a standard socket at home or a dedicated terminal. The battery, which offers a range of 70 km, is rechargeable in three hours.

One of the great innovations will be the possibility of making the purchase completely online and of being delivered to your home by an advisor who will explain its use.

Marketed by Fnac and Darty

A partnership, original for the automotive sector, has been signed with the Fnac Darty distribution group which will market the vehicle in its stores and on its online stores fnac.com and darty.com, in addition to the traditional network of Citroën dealers.

Orders are scheduled to open on March 30 in France and the first deliveries of the vehicle, produced in the new PSA factory in Kenitra, Morocco, from June.
