The death toll of the Corona virus has increased in many countries of the world amid large measures to eradicate it, as Iran announced the establishment of three scientific projects aimed at producing a vaccine against it, while Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced that the next week or two will be critical in the fight against the spread of the disease.
A spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Health, Kyanosh Jahanpur, announced that the death toll from the Coruna virus had risen to 26 deaths and 245 cases, pointing to 22 cases of similar recovery.
Jahanpur explained in a press conference today that the final outcome of the Corona victims during the past twenty-four hours amounted to 106 infections and said that the provinces that fight the Corona virus will witness a school holiday for three days.
In turn, the president of the Iranian University of Medical Sciences, Ali Reza Jalali, announced the initiation of three scientific projects through Iranian researchers, doctors and scientists with the aim of producing an anti-Corona vaccine in the country, explaining that the practical committees of the medical colleges began work on producing a radical treatment for HIV infection and providing the latest treatment methods for those infected.
For his part, Imam Khomeini city airport spokesman Ali Kashani Haideri announced a ban on Chinese citizens entering Iran and preventing foreign travelers carrying symptoms of the virus from entering the country.
The Japanese Prime Minister said that the government will require all schools to close temporarily, starting from March 2, two weeks before the spring break, in efforts to curb the spread of the virus, adding that the next one or two weeks will be critical in the fight against the epidemic.
In a related context, South Korea confirmed recording 505 other cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infections to 1766, while the number of deaths rose to 13.
In Italy, the Civil Protection Authority announced the death of two more people due to Corona, taking the total number of deaths to 14 and injuries to 528.
Japan confirmed that more than 910 people were infected, more than 700 of them came from the Diamond Princess, which was affected by the virus.
