The Real Estate Bank announced the opening of a new office in Al-Salamiyah, in the countryside of Hama Governorate today, to start work in it and provide banking services to citizens, and it will work to provide it with an ATM.
In a statement to the SANA representative, the Director General of the Real Estate Bank, Dr. Median Ali, stated that the Salamiya Office provides various banking services to its clients, namely the delivery, receipt and renewal of ATM cards, inquiries about loans and credit facilities, payment of monthly installments of real estate and housing loans, parallel and open education fees, the travel allowance for the people of recruitment and withdrawal to the ceiling of one million Ls the deposit is open.
Ali indicated that the bank is continuing to implement its plan for the current year, as several offices equipped with technical equipment and human cadres were operated through the main branches in the governorates and were operated, including the bank office in Qardaha in Lattakia countryside provided with an ATM and was allocated with an additional ATM is under construction and the office of Nazareth in Homs countryside has been provided With two banks, they are in trial operation and Jaramana office in Damascus countryside.
Ali indicated that the bank is also working to equip its office in Salhab in Hama countryside with equipment and technologies to be in service within weeks, as well as the bank’s office in Sahnaya in Damascus countryside, which is under preparation, and a large portion of its technical requirements have been secured, explaining that the goal of horizontal deployment of the bank’s offices is to reduce the burdens on citizens and enable them to Take advantage of banking services without the need to move to cities.
In the same context, the bank manager confirmed that 25 new ATMs were installed and operational in Damascus Governorate, 2 in Homs governorate, 3 in Safita, 4 in Tartous, 4 in Jableh, and 2 in Hasaka, which are under installation and allocating Daraa and Al-Suwaida with two new ATMs each of them and a number of new ATMs in Aleppo Governorate He explained that the bank has formed a committee to maintain the old automated teller machines and coordinate the teller machines that are economically useless to continue to maintain.
Regarding the implementation of Cabinet Resolution No. 5 regarding opening bank accounts for the purpose of depositing the price of buying or selling real estate and vehicles of all kinds, Ali pointed out that the bank has opened to date about one thousand bank accounts for this purpose, explaining that the bank’s administration has directed a circular to the branches by facilitating the procedures before the dealers with the aim of speeding up the process Opening a bank account.
The bank announced last month the completion of the distribution and delivery of new ATMs to its branches and offices in the governorates and the start of technical teams installing them to enter them into service consecutively.
