The pain took hold of everyone in the farewell of the remains of Santino, the 4-year-old boy killed in Puerto Deseado (Santa Cruz). His mother, who during the same act was raped and beaten fiercely, decompensated during the ceremony held in Rosario de la Frontera (Salta), where the family lives.

Mass in the church of Our Lady of the Rosary and the burial of the remains of the baby were attended by hundreds of people, including friends and neighbors.
The coffin was received with applause by hundreds of neighbors who bet on the main town square.
The priest José Jiménez, who officiated a mass with a present body, asked the population to accompany the family and wondered, before "the departure so premature and unexpected, painful and tragic, what word of consolation to illuminate this circumstance."

The priest indicated that such a tragic fact seems "pointless" before "human eyes" and added: "It seems that we are approaching an infinite dark abyss in which there is no answer. A life that was just beginning, with a truncated blow."
The victim's remains arrived at the Martin Miguel de Güemes International Airport, in the capital of Salta, after 11 am, hours after the arrival of his mother, María, his father and his brothers.

The body was received by personnel of the Airport Security Police (PSA) and then left in the car of a funeral home to Rosario de la Frontera, which is 175 kilometers south of the provincial capital.
As they passed through the town of San José de Metán, about 40 kilometers before Rosario de la Frontera, hundreds of people greeted the coffin on the side of national route 9/34, with banners and signs calling for justice and supporting the family.

After the Mass, in which the child's parents participated, the mayor of Rosario de la Frontera, Gustavo Solís, legislators, officials, family members and neighbors, formed a long line of people who greeted the coffin.

Upon leaving the church, the boy's remains were transferred to the cemetery of Choromoro, a Tucuman locality located about 82 kilometers from Rosario de la Frontera, on the border with Salta, to bury him, according to Télam .
A caravan headed by the town's fire truck participated in the procession and the remains were fired with a loud applause from hundreds of people who bet on the Plaza de Rosario de la Frontera.

Meanwhile, mobiles and agents of the National Gendarmerie and the Salta Police accompanied the coffin, along with family and friends.
The incident occurred last Thursday when the woman and her 4-year-old son, who were visiting Puerto Deseado, walked along Cavendish Beach.
