Lin Zhuoting said that at 8 am this morning he received a phone call from Yang Sen that the police had arrested him for illegal assembly and involved a 831 Christian island parade. Lin Zhuoting said that Yang Sen is currently in the Western District Police Station, but the police are planning to transfer him to the Central District Police Station. A lawyer is already present to assist. He also clarified that another former chairman, He Junren, has not been filled for the time being.
Democrat Legislative Councillor Yin Zhaojian questioned that the police ’s current action was the start of a new round of “big round of arrests” and emphasized that the procession was spontaneous and involved religious activities. The three were not the initiators of the event. They criticized the police for arresting three people in a high-profile manner. Selective law enforcement creates a chilling effect for society.

Lin Zhuoting expressed anger at the arrest of three core members of the democratic movement by the police, emphasizing that the three had not engaged in any violent conflict or organized violent actions on that day, arrested and exploited Hong Kong people's right to march and freedom of religious expression, and once again stimulated the temporary Slightly slower social atmosphere.

Yin Zhaojian also mentioned that the increase in the police force and the "Budget" have recently been controversial, questioning the current high-profile arrest of several Democrats in order to divert public attention.
