A local police officer from Lomas de Zamora identified as Emanuel Antúnez was killed tonight during an attempted robbery in Monte Grande.
The incident occurred minutes past 22 hours at the intersection of Azucena and Alvear streets. Antunes, 29, was intercepted by two criminals at the door of his home when he returned from service.
The agent tried to avoid being robbed of the Honda Titan 150 motorcycle in which he was driving and was shot in the side of the chest during an armed confrontation with his attackers.
Despite being quickly transferred to Santamarina Hospital, Antunes lost his life due to the serious injury.
Minutes later, a 17-year-old teenager who would have participated in the incident presented himself in the same health center with a gunshot wound in the abdomen and was available to justice after being surgically operated.
Personnel of the police station, of the DDI of Esteban Echeverría and the prosecutor in charge of the case work in the place to clarify the details of the case.
