About five tonnes of cannabis were seized Thursday in Seine-Saint-Denis by the police in charge of the drug fight, who also arrested several people, according to several sources Friday, February 28.

The 4.8 tonnes of narcotic products from Morocco were discovered in a utility vehicle in Villepinte. Seven people suspected of being involved in the importation and reception of the illegal goods were also arrested and placed in police custody, the sources said.
