"And here we are, in the living room of my house," says Floppy Tesouro , and unfolds his arms to show a living room with 360 ° views of the city and the river. The phrase was heard on Telefe's Divine Food program, and quickly generated comments on social networks and on the street. There were reasons: the common of the Argentines cannot even visit the 43rd floor of one of the two buildings that make up the Torres del Yacht ; of the most expensive in Buenos Aires.
The project. The authors are Fernández Prieto y Asociados and the architect Justo Solsona.
The complex is located on Dock 4, in front of the Hilton Hotel and the YPF building, built by César Pelli- and includes a third volume of lower height in which the amenities are located: pool, solarium and gym, among others. The towers, meanwhile, reach 138 meters , and each of them is subdivided into two halves. From the tenth floor to the ground floor, the concrete structure was perforated with the intention of forming a kind of urban portal, a metaphor for the connection that the work seeks with its surroundings.

The interior spaces of each department are clear, without columns or elements that obstruct the circulation, which gives them great flexibility for the design . The units start at 65 square meters and have views of the Rio de la Plata or the City, or both . Of course, the ownership of the Tesouro - Fernández Prieto marriage is one of the largest and most exclusive, which justifies a value close to US $ 2,000,000 , according to market data. With three levels, the apartment has a semi-covered terrace where the deco is more relaxed, less sober than the rest of the environments. Here the floating floor is a white that simulates a worn out, a luminous sign shouts LOVE and colored Buddhas rest between candles that are charged by USB. A somewhat more accessible aesthetic than that of the immediately lower level, with large windows, chandeliers, crystal chandeliers, and a huge kitchen with double quartz countertops.
Departments The smallest are 65 m2.
If the deco is the responsibility of Floppy, in the design of the two towers her husband intervened, the architect Rodrigo Fernández Prieto . In 1975, his father founded the studio that bears his last name in Avellaneda, where the family is from. Of the medium-scale homes in their city and in CABA, the architects went on to build in Punta del Este and shortly thereafter in Puerto Madero, where they bought land on the east side, then surrounded by dirt roads . The strategy was a success: his first work, of 450 departments, was sold entirely in one month.
