With its twenty-nine letters forming a compound word, the title of the new German law intended to facilitate economic immigration is as tortuous as the expectations raised in companies are high. The “ Fachkfräfteeinwanderungsgesetz ” comes into force on March 1. And, from Bavaria to Baden-Württemberg, from hospitals to metallurgical SMEs, from big cities to rural employment pools, employers are pushing a sigh of relief.
