First Deputy Chairman of the International Relations Committee of the Council of the Russian Federation Vladimir Jabbarov stressed that the Turkish regime protects the terrorists in Idlib and he must stop it.
"Turkey does not fulfill its obligations to fight terrorism and because of its actions, the Idlib governorate has become a bastion of terrorists," Sputnik quoted Jabbarov as saying today, stressing that such actions pose a threat to the situation not only in Syria but in the entire region.
Russian President Vladimir Putin stressed during a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the necessity of unconditional respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria, expressing his deep concern over the continued terrorist attacks in Idlib province, while the Russian Foreign Ministry earlier warned the Turkish regime not to support the attacks Terrorists in the province and continue to make provocative statements about the situation in it.
