The Libyan army announced that the air defense units shot down 6 drones belonging to the Turkish regime in Libya.
"The radar reconnaissance operations are continuing to seize enemy aircraft ... This confirms the airspace of the Libyan National Army," media quoted a commander of the Libyan National Army's Operations Room in the western region, General al-Mabrouk al-Ghazwi, as saying.
For his part, Director of the Department of Moral Guidance in the Libyan Army, Brigadier Khaled Al Mahjoub, announced that the death toll of the Turkish regime's soldiers inside Maitika airport in the capital, Tripoli, has risen to 15 Turkish soldiers.
Al-Mahjoub said that the Libyan army destroyed two radars at a military base inside the airport, which the Turkish regime was trying to establish.
A previous toll yesterday indicated the killing of at least 10 Turkish regime soldiers in a Libyan army bombardment targeting the Mutaiga base.
