The Grünbacher List was founded 25 years ago. A full tavern demonstrated at its only election event in the Bräustüberl that it is still attractive as a political group. Around 150 visitors came. There, candidate for mayor Walter John and 15 other Grünbachers presented themselves as possible new councilors.

Grünbach - “Six years ago we had almost 4800 votes from the Bockhorn community. In the end, this gave us three seats in the municipal council. We are now pursuing this goal in the election for the new political leadership, ”spokesman Rudi Strasser said as the entrance slogan.
John, 59, the candidate on the Grünbach list for the office of mayor, noted that perhaps not everyone in the town liked his portrait on the election posters: "Why else were so many posters removed, would someone like to have one for home?" asked he.
In any case, the metal builder and fire brigade commander has clear ideas about what needs to be changed in local politics. “It is clear that we urgently need a bypass of the B 388. However, if we in the municipal council propose a 500-meter-wide corridor for this in the land use plan and some citizens are afraid that this street will lead through their living room, then some things may not have been understood. And so we deleted it again. In addition, we do not want to loop in the planned northern bypass in hedges. However, if our previous mayor Hans Schreiner does not become a district administrator, there is reason to fear that we will get a route from which six localities will suffer. "
More noise from more traffic will very likely also affect the residents of Schwarzhölzl, said John. "Noise protection is not only planned on the so-called Walpertskirchener Spange, trains on the ABS 38 high-speed line from Munich to Mühldorf will soon also race past a few meters away from the houses - every half hour," said John. Because of the new “Acceleration Act”, there was almost no possibility for citizens to use this right to have a say and to object.
In addition, John spoke out in favor of "finally getting a functioning and nationwide mobile network in a high-tech country like Bavaria", "in many places we cannot use a cell phone at all". It also cannot be that every household has to shell out around 4,000 euros to be connected to the broadband network, and local planning must also be considered when planning new construction areas. If he became mayor, he wanted to campaign in every new building area for buildings in the municipality with affordable rental apartments, and Bockhorn also lacked a multi-purpose hall for sports, clubs and meetings.
Finally, the remaining 15 candidates on the Grünbach list introduced themselves, briefly explaining their respective motivation to apply for the honorary office of a local council. Her presentation and that of her applicant as the new town hall chief were obviously so convincing for the visitors in the room that there was not a single question from the plenum afterwards. Only Rudi Strasser was allowed to explain some electoral regulations.
