This 29-year-old civil engineer had the trigger when he visited his grandmother in a small village in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques. "In three months, between July and September 2019, we raised 68,000 euros to buy the walls and maintain the existence of a pizzeria in Chartres," he says. Aged 18 to 82, they are about thirty neighbors and customers who have put in the pot to save the activity.
Giving meaning to your savings
