The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed that the Turkish soldiers who were bombed in Idlib Governorate yesterday were among the terrorists.
A statement by the Ministry today said: “According to the data provided to the Russian Coordination Center, the Turkish side did not mention anything about the presence of Turkish forces in the vicinity of the town of Bayhoun in Idlib, knowing that they should not be there. That area, and on the basis of it, on the 27th of this month, it attempted a large-scale offensive operation against the positions of the Syrian army.
The spokesman for the Russian presidency, Dmitry Peskov, recently confirmed that the continuous terrorist attacks targeting the Syrian army and Russian forces are carried out by terrorist organizations that are deployed where there are Turkish occupation forces.
The statement stressed that the representatives of the Russian Coordination Center in Hmeimim "requested, last night, from the Turkish side, information on the whereabouts of the Turkish forces near the combat operations area of the terrorists."
The Russian Ministry of Defense confirmed in a statement yesterday that the Turkish regime continues to violate the Sochi Agreements on Idlib by providing support to terrorists who attack the Syrian army.
