Tegernsee Valley - The night shift of the Wiesse police, fire brigades and emergency services had their hands full due to storm depression "Bianca" in the Tegernsee valley. As the police reported in the early morning hours, a total of five reports were received about fallen trees, which blocked the respective lanes in whole or in part.

A 54-year-old woman from Bad Heilbrunn, who came from Miesbach with her VW, overlooked a 51-year-old woman from Gmund in her BMW. The two cars collided. The BMW driver was slightly injured and came to the Agatharied hospital with the BRK emergency services. Both vehicles had to be towed. Total damage: around 45,000 euros.

Due to a fallen tree on the B318 between Gmund and Bad Wiessee, near Bayersäge, there were two subsequent accidents. A 50-year-old Tölzer and a 19-year-old Wiesseer drove their cars into the tree from the oncoming direction of travel. According to the police, there was only minor damage to the vehicles, and both road users were able to continue their journey.

Several roads blocked as a precaution for security reasons

In agreement with the fire brigade, the road authorities blocked the following roads due to the fallen trees, the continuing storm and the resulting danger for the emergency services at night: in the area of ​​the municipality of Waakirchen, the MB7 between Schaftlach and the B318 and the MB6 between Schaftlach and Piesenkam , the connecting road between Schaftlach and Krottenthal and in the area of ​​the municipality Rottach-Egern the Vallepper Strasse.

In total, the fire departments in the Miesbach district had to move out 56 times on Friday due to fallen trees on cars, houses and streets. 26 fire departments were deployed. In the area of ​​the police headquarters in Upper Bavaria, there were 288 emergency calls, 29 minor accidents and two accidents with minor injuries.
