The Iranian Foreign Ministry strongly condemned the interference of third parties, especially the United States, aimed at undermining the Astana process around the crisis in Syria.
And the ministry said in a statement today that the United States is dealing irresponsibly with what is happening in the region and its sole purpose in its illegal presence in Syria is to steal the oil resources of the Syrian people.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry statement indicated that Iran is following closely and with interest developments in the Idlib governorate, calling for continued efforts to hold a meeting of leaders of the guarantor countries in the Astana process in Tehran, and to affirm the continuation of previous agreements to combat terrorism and reach a political solution to the crisis in Syria.
