Fox Nation presenter present and former ESPN channel reporter Britt McHenry revealed Thursday (Thursday) that she will undergo brain tumor surgery. McHenry tried to keep the subject secret, "but as usual things are said without my consent," she tweeted.

"I have a brain tumor. I'm with an amazing medical team and the surgery will take place soon," McHenry tweeted. "Thank you for your continued support and understanding at this time."

I was trying to keep this relatively private. But as usual, things are being said without my consent.

You have a brain tumor. I'm with an amazing medical team and surgery is imminent. Thank you for continued support and understanding at this time.

Earlier this week, McHenry, 33, who joined Fox News as a reporter in 2018, updated that she had a neck and brain MRI. "I had good and bad news today," she tweeted, adding that she was overwhelmed by the support of friends and public. "Please, I can't explain, check back soon! It could have saved me," McHenry wrote.

Megan McCain, whose father, Sen. John McCain, passed away in 2018 a year after being diagnosed with brain cancer, offered support to McHenry and tweeted in response to the moving post: "Please update us if there is anything we can do."

McHenry has worked at ESPN for four years and has received support messages from ESPN members since the announcement. "Sends lots of love and prayer, Britt. You got it!" ESPN NFL tweeted Jenna Lane tweeted.

ESPN sports reporter Kevin Ngandi expressed his support, writing: "I'm so sorry Britt. Sending forces to your war."

Former Fox News presenter Megan Kelly also expressed her support for McHenry and wrote: "Send you a lot of love and power. We're all behind you."

Sending you much love and strength. We are all behind you.
