Turkish politicians, media and military denounced the failed policies of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Syria and his support for terrorists on its soil, stressing that he bears the responsibility for killing Turkish soldiers in Idlib.

Professor Amra Kungar said in an interview with the Turkish Tele 1 channel that what Erdogan is doing in Syria serves American projects and serving the Zionist project, while the journalist Yilmaz Ozdel pointed out that the Turkish regime’s president and his media “are lying to the Turkish people day and night”, explaining that Erdogan's regime and the sheikhdoms of the Gulf and America conspired Syria, because it refused to submit to the plans of the West.

Ozdel called on Erdogan to stop supporting and protecting the terrorists who are fighting the Syrian state and the Syrian people.

For his part, held the editor-in-chief of the Tele 1 channel, Mardan Yanar Dag Erdogan, responsible for all the problems Turkey faces in Idlib, including the killing of Turkish soldiers, condemning the support that Erdogan's regime provides to terrorist organizations.

In turn, retired Turkish admiral Turkar Erturk described Erdogan's regime as "my reactionary brothers", indicating that he had not fulfilled his pledges in the Sochi agreements.

“The Syrian army is fighting for its homeland against the terrorists and we are protecting the terrorists,” Arturk said, adding that “if Erdogan's conspiracy against Syria continues, the future risks will be very serious and Turkey will be in a much more dangerous situation than we are now suffering in Idlib.”

"We are a military and we are well aware of the dangers that we will face in Syria as a result of Erdogan's policies. He and those with him are constantly lying because they do not understand anything by military action," he added.

For his part, retired Turkish General Ahmed Yawuz asserted in an interview with the Turkish Khalq channel that Erdogan had committed grave errors militarily and politically in Idlib and Syria in general, stating that "there is no logical justification for the presence of Turkish forces in it," stressing the right of the Syrian state to fight terrorists on its soil.

For his part, Professor of International Relations Errol Mettjmalar indicated that he was not entitled in any way to the Turkish regime to send his forces to the Syrian lands, pointing to the majority of the Turkish people reject Erdogan's lies.

To that, 63 social figures in Turkey signed a joint document calling for Erdogan to withdraw the Turkish forces from Syria immediately, stressing their refusal to interfere with Erdogan in Syrian affairs and his support for the terrorists.

The document condemned the interference of the Turkish regime in Idlib, stating that the Turkish state during Erdogan's era had turned into an instrument in the hands of the imperialist states.

Among those who signed the document are many artists, actors, writers, poets, leaders of civil society organizations, jurists, journalists, university professors, doctors, and trade unionists.

The initiative’s supervisors expected that the number of signatories to the document will increase in the next few days.
