The incident caused social controversy. Six months after the clash, some netizens have initiated a memorial service at Prince Edward Station at 8pm tonight (29th). In the past few months, people outside the Prince's Station have been constantly presenting flowers and mourning. The flower beds have been cleared by the police several times.
At 4 pm, the Tsuen Wan Line Prince's Station platform 4 in the direction of Central, the glass curtain door No. 5 card 2 burst, the debris scattered all over the place, MTR staff to clean up the site and perform emergency repairs, the staff pointed out that the reason for the burst is yet to be determined survey. Outside the Prince's Station, some people continued to present flowers, but they were not inserted into the railings and instead placed on the sidewalk.
