According to figures from Figaro , attendance at the Agricultural Show was down for the 2020 edition compared to the previous one. This year 483,000 people passed through the doors of the great agricultural fair, compared to 623,000 in 2019.
This little vintage is due to the early closure of a day, decided by the government to deal with the epidemic of coronavirus. A day like this Sunday would have represented an additional influx of 70,000 visitors.
We note, however, that attendance has continued to drop since Wednesday and the announcement of the increase in the number of reported cases of coronavirus on the national territory. The epidemic therefore had a negative effect on the crowds of the event.
On site, traders are disappointed with the anticipated closure of the show. This represents 10 to 15% less turnover for them. Some had started selling their products late in the afternoon.
