The new building is an enrichment for schools and clubs. The beginnings of the former youth sports facility were much more modest: in 2005 simple containers for changing clothes and showering were set up. Originally, 2.7 million euros had been earmarked for new construction and expansion, but numerous savings ultimately left the city with 2.2 million euros .

Sustainable project
Mayor Böck pointed out the sustainability of the project: starting with the environmentally friendly thermal energy from geothermal energy, through the construction of the building in wooden construction up to the photovoltaic system on the roof with an annual output of 60,000 kilowatt hours , which supplies the AquariUSH leisure pool. The new sports club has two floodlit soccer fields, a circular pellet track, a 200-meter track that is equipped with sound boxes so that the visually impaired can use them, as well as six beach volleyball fields with floodlights and four changing and shower facilities for them Sports clubs and schools.
Storage rooms for sports equipment were also considered. There is also a spacious lounge with kitchen and a terrace. The entire area is barrier-free . 37 car parking spaces and 68 bicycle parking spaces are available.
