Dramatic development in Fifth Dimension affair • Internal email sent by CEO Doron Cohen to Israel Today points out: Despite claims that Gantz was not involved in the business process - he met with Elshichi in April 2018 and allegedly concluded a tender with Blue and White: "In Gantz's conduct, the spot did not fall"

Did the CEO of Fifth Dimension conceal the very existence of an alleged meeting in April 2018 between then-company chairman Benny Gantz and then-police chief Ronnie Alshich? And could the alleged hiding of the meeting be meant to keep the name of a blue chairman White today from involvement in the case that led to the opening of a criminal investigation? According to an internal email of the fifth dimension that came to Israel today, the answers to these questions may be positive.

About a week and a half ago, with State Attorney Dan Eldad's announcement of a criminal investigation into the case, Fifth Dimension general manager Doron Cohen was interviewed, claiming that "Gantz made sure not to be involved in the business process between Fifth Dimension and the police." "Police then Ronnie Elshich - and Gantz only attended first. "The business closure," Cohen explained, "was done by the company's management, and the board was not involved."

However, a letter sent by CEO Cohen to US investors on April 23, 2018, and reached "Israel Today" - shows a completely different picture. According to the email sent by Cohen, Gantz met with the commissioner in April 2018, long after approval of the pilot tender exemption offered by the police company In August 2016.

At a 2018 meeting, according to Cohen, Gantz and Elichi discussed the future of the project and the projected future. Cohen writes to investors as follows:

"Sorry for the delay in repentance, I was traveling too long and actually waited to have a firmer feeling around our police, after my son's meeting with the commissioner yesterday ... from yesterday's meeting with the commissioner we left with two main points:

1. We are the chosen ones.

2. Probably the customer found a solution for us to get an exemption from the tender, and within two or three weeks we will have a final answer. "

The email is an answer to investors' questions about the future of the pilot that began with the police, and their concerns about projected revenue, license revenue, maintenance and system upgrades.

In the email, Cohen explained that his response was delayed due to travel - but in fact, Cohen apparently waited until after Gantz's meeting with the commissioner the day before.

Later in the email, Cohen explains that there is no fear of continuing to pay for the project, and explains that the remaining payments will be arranged at a 30 percent and 70 percent rate. At the same time, April 2018, the US Treasury imposed sanctions on Russian businessman Viktor Wexelberg, the fifth largest investor, under the "Anti-US Enemy Law through Sanctions." At the same time, Benny Gantz's name may rise in the next election , And surveys that included his name.

From the e-mail now revealed, it is wondering if Cohen's version, in an interview a week and a half ago, is consistent with his clear remarks in the e-mail - according to which Gantz met with the police commissioner and dealt with the business.

We contacted Mr. Doron Cohen for a response, but he did not reply.

We contacted MK Gantz and asked if he met with the Al-Knesset Commissioner during April 2018 and discussed with him the fifth dimension. A white paintbrush said: "Ganz's conduct in the Fifth Dimension did not go down very well. He is not suspicious of the case, and the timing of the news release the day before the election speaks for itself."

Remember, the fifth dimension case was born from a former state comptroller's report, which will be published next month. In 2016, the company offered the police a new technology that deals with artificial intelligence for intelligence purposes. Senior members of the company met with the then police commissioner, Ronnie Alshich. The report noted that there was reason to be blamed for the company's senior participation in the professional discussion conducted by the police - because they are clearly interested. It was also suspected that former Deputy Commissioner Ronnie Alshich promoted a call without a tender with the Fifth Dimension company.

According to the auditor's report, the fifth dimension presented false data to the police, including its duration and number of customers, and thus avoided conducting a tender. The company carried out a joint pilot with the police, after which the company and the police signed a cooperation agreement of NIS 50 million - of which 4 million were transferred However, the company eventually closed down.
