The security forces of the Turkish regime arrested three journalists today after they launched raids against opponents of his arbitrary and oppressive policies.

The editor-in-chief of the Near East News site, journalist Petakin Dorsonoglu, in a tweet posted on his account on the social networking site Twitter, revealed that “the Turkish regime’s authorities raided his house in Istanbul and arrested him.”

Dorsonoglu had been subjected to a violent campaign in social networks loyal to Erdogan, because of his articles criticizing his policies supporting terrorists in Syria.

The Turkish regime authorities also arrested two other journalists, Nagy Kaya and Idris Selegan, who were covering the name of Mazotobatamia News Agency, on the conditions of the Syrian refugees, near the border city of Edirne.

It is reported that the International Committee to Protect Journalists ranked Turkey in 2014 as the first country in the world to suppress press freedoms and imprison journalists.

A group of loyalists to the President of the Turkish system, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, launched a violent campaign in the social networks under the title "arrest or expulsion" targeting a number of media workers, including the journalist Hosni Mahli, who was previously arrested on December 16, 2016.
