Stefanos Tsitsipas, a rising star in men's tennis (6th in the world at only 21), put up a good resistance in the exchanges, but he could not do anything against the Serb, who now has 18 victories in as many matches this year. In a match that was initially hooked, Tsitsipas was the first to be dangerous on the service of his opponent, obtaining a break point at 2-2. But the Serb knew how to tighten the screw to continue to race in the lead. And, at 4-3 in his favor, he converted his first break point from a magnificent passing. A decisive advantage which allowed him to win the first round in 39 minutes.

Fifth Serbian title in the emirate
The Greek was more aggressive in the second run. Breaked at 2-2, he took Djokovic's service in the process to return to a tie. The latter then raised his tone and broke to 4-4, an advantage this time definitive.
