Nie Dequan posted on Facebook that he held a meeting this morning with colleagues from the Immigration Department, Security Bureau, Food and Health Bureau, Department of Health, Hospital Authority, Transport and Housing Bureau, Wuhan Office, and representatives of Cathay Dragon Hong Kong and the Mainland. Nie Dequan said that the operation was full of challenges, and also pointed out that the public was more concerned about how to reduce the risk of cross-infection or virus being brought back to Hong Kong during the process of returning Hong Kong people. Testing and quarantine arrangements include:

1. At the time of registration to return to Hong Kong, staff of the Department of Health have started to assess their health status. All persons with fever or other symptoms are not registered.

2. The Department of Health advises all passengers to thoroughly clean their bodies and all clothing before departure to avoid bringing viruses or contaminants back to Hong Kong.

3. After arriving at Wuhan Tianhe International Airport, all passengers will receive equipment such as masks, alcohol hand rub and protective clothing.

4. When boarding a car, entering the airport building, crossing the border, and entering the waiting hall, all passengers must take a temperature test at least four times before they can board the plane; if the passenger has a fever, abnormal health signs, respiratory symptoms or other infectious diseases Status, will not be boarding.

5. Passengers must wear masks and protective clothing before boarding. Special seats will be arranged on the flight to separate passengers as much as possible. Passengers cannot arbitrarily move seats.

6. After arriving in Hong Kong, the staff of the Department of Health will check the temperature of the passengers again and arrange them to go directly from the airport to the designated quarantine center for quarantine on the 14th.

7. After entering the quarantine center, the Department of Health will perform a virus test for them.
