2020-03-02T13:27:10.467Z

Less than a week after the death of the teacher at Crépy-en-Valois, two other patients who passed through the hospital in Compiègne lost their lives.

The balance sheet increases. Three concordant sources confirm to the Parisian that two other people from the Oise lost their lives after being infected with the coronavirus. All have passed through the Compiègne-Noyon hospital in recent days.

"This Monday, according to the last point of information I could have, there were at the hospital of Compiègne two additional deaths adding to the first, that of the teacher of Crépy-en-Valois", confirms Philippe Marini, the mayor (LR) of the imperial city and president of the supervisory board of the hospital center.

One of the two victims is a man who passed through Compiègne and was hospitalized in Amiens (Somme). The second of these new deaths occurred on the night of Saturday to Sunday in Compiègne.

Since the start of the epidemic in France, at least 130 cases have so far been identified in the country, including 2 deaths. The balance sheet would therefore now reach four victims this Monday at midday. Oise is the department most affected by the virus with 49 cases revealed this Sunday evening.
