And in tribute to the one who will remain the major French figure of the 20th century, the film De Gaulle by Gabriel Le Bomin with Lambert Wilson in the role of the great man, a documentary series broadcast by France 2 and some essays on his political work will appear at the very year round.

As the opening of this triple celebration, the film De Gaulle will be released in theaters on March 4. It traces the crucial decision to continue the fight against the Third Reich in 1940 and the consequences it also had on his private life. In this fresco, the head of France Libre will be perfectly embodied by actor Lambert Wilson.

For television, the documentary series Moi, Général de Gaulle , began broadcasting on Sunday March 1 on France 2. Beyond its decisive action during the Second World War, it revisited in particular the whole life of the General until his resignation in 1969.
