The Higher Council for Technical Education agreed to reopen the registration dates for newly admitted students in the technical institutes subject to its supervision for the academic year 2019-2020 until Thursday 26 March.
He also agreed, in a decision that SANA received a copy of today, to reopen the registration dates for the old students, "first year placement, second year placement, second year placement, and a course from outside the institute" in all technical institutes subject to his supervision for the year 2019-2020 until Thursday March 26.
According to the decision, the necessary rules and procedures relating to student time are applied as specified in the institutes internal regulations.
The Council had announced earlier to extend the registration period until Thursday 20 February.
Technical institutes with a minimum duration of two years for secondary school certificate holders aim to prepare and qualify young human cadres to deal with modern technologies and the changing needs of the labor market.
