According to a message sent to employees by Peng Shuxiong, he stated that "because of his personal career planning and development, he has previously submitted a resignation letter to the managing director, Mr. Li Zechang." Regarding Peng Shuxiong's resignation, Huang Xingxiang, chairman of the KMB Staff Union, said today that he had received the message of leaving Peng from the whatsapp group, describing him as "good management". It is a pity to leave. He said that Peng was compassionate with frontline employees, fought for a lot of benefits, relaxed access to retirement permits, and improved station facilities.
