Maduro called Guaidó "bobolongo" 0:24
(CNN Spanish) - The Government of Nicolás Maduro described as “false positive” the complaint made by the president of the National Assembly, Juan Guaidó, recognized as interim president for more than 50 countries, for the alleged intimidation with firearms of which the opposition leader would have been a victim during a visit to central western Venezuela over the weekend.
The vice president of Communication of the Government of Maduro, Jorge Rodríguez, informed through the public media about the arrest of a man whom he accused of being involved with the Guaidó team in an alleged plot to simulate an attack.
Rodriguez showed as proof an edited video with statements of the man allegedly arrested.
"President Nicolás Maduro ordered that the facts of Lara (central-western state) be investigated thoroughly and 72 hours later we already have the first detainee," Rodriguez said.

The political activity in question took place in the city of Barquisimeto last Saturday.
The Guaidó press team disseminated images about the presence in that act of armed people who would have threatened the attendees, including Guaidó.
This Monday, the president of the National Constituent Assembly, Diosdado Cabello, reacted to this complaint of the opposition calling it a lie: “How they lie or try to deceive their own people and then go to blame the government. What interest can we have? None. Interest may have others. Their goal is very clear: create false information for the world. Not for Venezuela because in Venezuela everyone knows that this man is nothing. ”
